ထိုင်းနိုင်ငံဒုတိယဝန်ကြီးချုပ်နှင့် နိုင်ငံခြားရေးဝန်ကြီးမစ္စတာဒွန်ပရာမွန်းဝီနိုင်း၏ ဖိတ်ကြား ချက်အရ နိုင်ငံခြားရေးဝန်ကြီးဌာန၊ ပြည်ထောင်စုဝန်ကြီးဦးသန်းဆွေ ဦးဆောင်သည့် မြန်မာ ကိုယ်စားလှယ်အဖွဲ့သည် ၂၀၂၃ခုနှစ်၊ ဇွန်လ ၁၉ ရက်တွင် ထိုင်းနိုင်ငံ၊ ပတ္တရားမြို့၌ ပြုလုပ်ခဲ့သည့် မြန်မာအရေးကိစ္စနှင့်ပတ်သက်သည့် အလွတ်သဘော ဆွေးနွေးပွဲသို့ တက်ရောက်ခဲ့သည်။ အဆိုပါ အလွတ်သဘော ဆွေးနွေးပွဲသို့ အာဆီယံအဖွဲ့ဝင်နိုင်ငံများဖြစ်ကြသည့် ဘရူနိုင်း၊ ကမ္ဘောဒီးယား၊ လာအို၊ ဖိလစ်ပိုင်၊ ဗီယက်နမ်နိုင်ငံတို့နှင့် အိမ်နီးချင်းနိုင်ငံများဖြစ်သည့် တရုတ်ပြည်သူ့ သမ္မတနိုင်ငံနှင့် အိန္ဒိယနိုင်ငံတို့မှ နိုင်ငံခြားရေးဝန်ကြီးများ၊ အထူးကိုယ်စားလှယ်၊ သံအမတ်ကြီး များနှင့် ကိုယ်စားလှယ်များတက်ရောက်ခဲ့သည်။
ပြည်ထောင်စုဝန်ကြီးမှ မြန်မာနိုင်ငံက အာဆီယံ၏ တူညီဆန္ဒ(၅)ချက် အကောင်အထည် ဖော်မှု၊ နိုင်ငံအတွင်းတည်ငြိမ်အေးချမ်းရေး၊ ဒီမိုကရေစီပြန်လည်ထူထောင်ရေး ကိစ္စများကို နိုင်ငံတော်စီမံအုပ်ချုပ်ရေးကောင်စီ၏ ရှေ့လုပ်ငန်းစဉ်(၅)ရပ်နှင့်အညီ ဆောင်ရွက်နေမှုများအား ရှင်းလင်းပြောကြားခဲ့ပါသည်။ အလွတ်သဘော ဆွေးနွေးပွဲသို့ တက်ရောက်လာသူများက မြန်မာ အရေးကိစ္စနှင့်ပတ်သက်၍ အမြင်ချင်းဖလှယ်ဆွေးနွေးခဲ့ကြပါသည်။

Press Release

At the invitation of the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Thailand, H.E. Mr Don Pramudwinai, H.E. U Than Swe, Union Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, attended an informal discussion on Myanmar, held on 19 June 2023 in Pattaya, Thailand. Foreign Ministers, Special Envoy, Ambassadors and representatives from ASEAN Member States: Brunei, Cambodia, Laos, Vietnam, the Philippines and neighbouring countries: China and India participated.
During the informal discussion, the participants exchanged views on matters related to the situation in Myanmar. H.E. U Than Swe, Union Minister, briefed the meeting on Myanmar’s cooperation with ASEAN for implementing the ASEAN five-point consensus, building peace and stability and restoring democracy in line with the State Administration Council’s Five Points Roadmap.

 3.ENTRY VISA (SOCIAL VISIT)

Requirements :

1. Completed visa application form.

2. Two ( 5x7 cm) coloured photos with white background.

3. Passport with minimum validity of six (6) months with sufficient visa pages.

4. A completed biography form. (Do not make copy.)

(The applicants who have been issued social visa within last three years don’t need to fill the Bio forms)

5. Visa fee is C$45.00 per applicant.

6. Social visit visa is valid for THREE MONTHS from the date of issue with 28 days stay.

7. Write a letter stating purpose of visit.

8. Return old Myanmar passport or Certificate of Identity or provide other supporting documents.

9. Post dated visas cannot be issued.

  4.MEDITATION VISA

Requirements

1. A letter addressed to the Embassy of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar proposing the duration of the meditation visa the applicant needs as well as stating that he/she will not engage in any activities other than religious matters.

2. Two sets of completed visa application forms.

3. Two (5x7 cm) coloured photos.

4. Visa fee is C$45 per applicant.

5. Self-written biographical sketch.

6. Sponsor letter from the Meditation Center/Monastery/Venerable Sayadaw in Myanmar.

7. Meditation visa is valid for THREE MONTHS from the date of issue. It will require minimum of one month for approval.

8. Post dated visas cannot be issued.

5.ENTRY VISA

Requirements :

1. Completed visa application form.

2. Two ( 5x7 cm) coloured photos with white background.

3. Passport with minimum validity of six (6) months with sufficient visa pages.

4. Visa fee is C$45.00 per applicant.

5. Entry visit visa is valid for THREE MONTHS from the date of issue with limited days stay.

6. Write a letter stating purpose of visit.

7. Post dated visas cannot be issued.

8. For Meeting/Conference/Workshops, a letter from the Ministry concerned is required.

9. For Journalist visa, the letter from respective Media Association or Agency, and the intended travel plan are required. It will require minimum of one month for approval.

 6.TRANSIT VISA

Requirements :

1. Completed visa application form.

2. Two ( 5x7 cm) coloured photos with white background.

3. Passport with minimum validity of six (6) months with sufficient visa pages.

4. Visa fee is C$25.00 per applicant.

5. Transit visit visa is valid for THREE MONTHS from the date of issue with 24 HOURS.

6. Post dated visas cannot be issued.

7. Copy of Air Ticket (Travel Itinerary)

Requirements

1. Completed visa application form.
2. Two ( 5x7 cm) coloured photos with white background.
3. Passport with minimum validity of six (6) months with sufficient visa pages.
4. GOC /DGOC visa is valid for THREE MONTHS from the date of issue with limited days stay.
5. An official letter from the Department concerned

  2.    Payment by money order or bank draft made payable to the Embassy of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, Ottawa or Myanmar Embassy..
  3.    Please ensure that application form (signed), required pictures and actual passport are enclosed.  Failure to comply will delay issuance of visa. Do not print anything on the back of the application form.
  4.    If documents are in order, issuance of visa is 2 to 4 business days (more or less).
  5.    Processing days starts from the completion of required documents, not from the day of receiving application.

Consular Hours

1. Tourist Visa

Requirements :

1.Completed visa application form.

2. Two (5 x 7 cm) coloured photos with white background.

3. Passport with minimum validity of six (6) months with sufficient visa pages.

4. Visa fee is C$30.00 per applicant.

5. Tourist visa is valid for THREE MONTHS from the date of issue with 28-days STAY.

6. Post dated visas cannot be issued.

7. A letter from employer in the office letterhead specifying the job title. If self- employed, write a letter with details of occupation. If retired, write a letter describing the job prior to retirement.

8. For students, provide a letter from school stating that the applicant is presently enrolled or a copy of valid student’s ID. 9. For those who are non Canadian passport holders, provide the copy of PR card or work permit along with other documents.

2.BUSINESS VISA

Requirements :

1. Completed visa application form.

2. Two (5x7 cm) coloured photos with white background.

3. Passport with minimum validity of six (6) months with sufficient visa pages.
(For multiple visa, the passport validity should cover the validity of the visa)

4. Visa fee is Cdn$45.00 per applicant for single entry visa and, Cdn$ 208 for multiple entry visa.

5. For the first timer, only the single entry is issued.

6. Visa Request letter from Canada Company and the Invitation letter from Myanmar company.

7. Copy of Valid Business Registration Certificates from both Canada and Myanmar Companies. (BRC needs to be the valid one)

8. Business visa (Single Entry) is valid for THREE MONTHS from the date of issue with 70 Days STAY, and (Multiple Entry) is valid for SIX MONTHS OR ONE YEAR from the date of issue with 70 Days STAY,

9. Post dated visas cannot be issued.
