TRANSIT VISA

REQUIREMENTS FOR TRANSIT VISA APPLICATION

1. Completed visa application form.

2. Two recent ( 5x 7 cm) coloured photos with white background professionally taken and printed.

3. Passport with minimum validity of six (6) months and with sufficient visa pages.

4. Visa fee is Canadian dollar 26.00 per applicant by money order or bank draft payable to the Embassy of Myanmar.

5. Transit visa is valid for THREE MONTHS from the date of issue with 24- Hours stay.

6. Copy of Air Ticket including onward air ticket.

7. Enclose a registered prepaid return envelope of your choice EXCEPT PUROLATOR.

(If you choose Fedex or UPS, obtain a computer generated waybill that you can do online or you can obtain Expresspost from the Post Office). Make sure it is filled up legibly.

(DO NOT SEND AN UNREGISTERED ENVELOP OR ORDINARY STAMPED ENVELOPE) 

NOTE :

1. Make sure you comply with all the above requirements, failure to do so will delay issuance of visa.

If documents are in order, processing time is five (5) business days more or less depending on the season.

2. The Embassy does not give updates on the status of your application unless we need further information or requirements from you.

3. Please ensure that application form (signed), required pictures and actual passport are enclosed.Failure to comply will delay issuance of visa. Do not print anything on the back of the application form.
