ကနေဒါဗုဒ္ဓဘာသာကွန်ဂရက်ဥက္ကဋ္ဌဆရာတော်၏ ဖိတ်ကြားချက်အရ ကနေဒါနိုင်ငံဆိုင်ရာ မြန်မာသံအမတ်ကြီး ဦးဟောက်ခန့်ဆုမ်းသည် (၂၅-၅-၂၀၂၅)ရက်၊ (၁၆:၀၀)နာရီတွင် အော်တာဝါမြို့ရှိ Hilda Jayewardenaramaya ဘုန်းတော်ကြီးကျောင်း၌ ကနေဒါဗုဒ္ဓဘာသာကွန်ဂရက်မှ ကြီးမှူး ကျင်းပသည့် ကဆုန်လပြည့်ဗုဒ္ဓနေ့အထိမ်းအမှတ်အခမ်းအနားသို့ တက်ရောက်ခဲ့ပါသည်။
အခမ်းအနားတွင် တက်ရောက်လာသူများက ငါးပါးသီလခံယူဆောက်တည်ကြပြီးနောက် ကနေဒါဗုဒ္ဓဘာသာကွန်ဂရက်၏ ဥက္ကဋ္ဌဆရာတော် Venerable Bhante Jinananda Thero က ဩဝါဒကထာများ ချီးမြှင့်ခဲ့ပါသည်။ ထို့နောက် အခမ်းအနားသို့တက်ရောက်လာကြသည့် အထူး ဧည့်သည်တော်များအနက် မြန်မာသံအမတ်ကြီးနှင့် သီရိလင်္ကာသံအမတ်ကြီးတို့က ဗုဒ္ဓနေ့ပူဇော်ပွဲနှင့် ပတ်သက်၍ အမှတ်တရစကားများ ပြောကြားခဲ့ကြရာတွင် မြန်မာသံအမတ်ကြီးက ဗုဒ္ဓမြတ်စွာဘုရား ဖွားမြင်တော်မူခြင်း၊ ဘုရားအဖြစ်သို့ ရောက်ရှိတော်မူခြင်းနှင့် ပရိနိဗ္ဗာန်စံဝင်တော်မူခြင်းစသည့် အမြင့် မြတ်ဆုံးသော ဖြစ်စဉ်(၃)ခုကို အောက်မေ့သတိရသည့်အနေဖြင့် ဗုဒ္ဓနေ့ (Vesak Day) အခမ်းအနားကို ကမ္ဘာတစ်ဝှမ်းရှိ ဗုဒ္ဓဘာသာဝင်များက အလေးအမြတ်ထားကျင်းပနေမှုများ၊ မြန်မာနိုင်ငံ၌ ကဆုန် လပြည့်ဗုဒ္ဓနေ့ကို ကဆုန်လပြည့်နေ့တွင် နိုင်ငံတဝှမ်း၌ ကျင်းပလျက်ရှိသည့် အခြေအနေများနှင့် ပိုမိုအေးချမ်းသာယာ၍ မေတ္တာဂရုဏာပိုမိုကြီးမားသည့် ကမ္ဘာကြီးကို တည်ဆောက်ကြရာ၌ မေတ္တာ ဂရုဏာထားခြင်း၊ သည်းခံခြင်းနှင့် အသိသတိနောက်သို့လိုက်ခြင်း စသည်တို့အပါအဝင် ဗုဒ္ဓ၏ အဆုံးအမများကို မိမိတို့၏နေ့စဉ်လူမှုဘဝတွင် လိုက်နာကျင့်ကြံကြရန် အရေးကြီးမှုများကို ထည့်သွင်း ပြောဆိုခဲ့ကြောင်း သိရှိရပါသည်။

Ambassador of Myanmar to Canada attends Vesak Day Celebration organised by the Buddhist Congress of Canada

At the invitation of the President of the Buddhist Congress of Canada, Ambassador of Myanmar to Canada U Hau Khan Sum attended Vesak Day Celebration organized by the Buddhist Congress of Canada at 4:00 p.m. on May 25, 2025 at Hilda Jayewardenaramaya Temple in Ottawa.
The ceremony began with an observance of the Five Noble Precepts followed by a sermon from Venerable Bhante Jinananda Thero, President of the Buddhist Congress of Canada. Afterward, the Ambassador of Myanmar and the High Commissioner of Sri Lanka delivered messages of reverence in honour of the Vesak Day in which the Ambassador of Myanmar highlighted the significant of Vesak Day which commemorates three most sacred events in the life of Lord Buddha – his birth, his enlightenment and his passing into the Parinirvanna. He also shared that Vesak is celebrated across the country on the Full Moon day of Kason which falls in the second month of Myanmar calendar while stressing the importance of practicing the teachings of Buddha including loving-kindness, tolerance and the pursuit of wisdom in our daily lives to build a more peaceful and compassionate world.
