ကနေဒါနိုင်ငံဆိုင်ရာ မြန်မာသံအမတ်ကြီး ဉီးဟောက်ခန့်ဆုမ်းသည် အာဆီယံကော်မတီ (အော်တာဝါ) (ASEAN Committee in Ottawa-ACO) ၏ အလှည့်ကျဥက္ကဌဖြစ်သူ ထိုင်း သံအမတ်ကြီး Mr. Kallayana Vipattipumiprates ဉီးဆောင်၍ ၂၀၂၅ ခုနှစ်၊ ဧပြီလ ၁၀ ရက်နေ့၊ (၁၀း၀၀)နာရီတွင် အော်တာဝါမြို့ရှိ ထိုင်းသံအမတ်ကြီး၏နေအိမ်၌ ကျင်းပပြုလုပ်သည့် အာဆီယံ ကော်မတီ(အော်တာဝါ) သံရုံးအကြီးအကဲများ၏ (၂၉၀)ကြိမ်မြောက်အစည်းအဝေးနှင့် အလုပ် သဘောနေ့လယ်စာစားပွဲသို့ တက်ရောက်ခဲ့ပါသည်။
အစည်းအဝေးတွင် အာဆီယံသံရုံးအကြီးအကဲများက အာဆီယံ-ကနေဒါမဟာဗျူဟာ မြောက်မိတ်ဖက်ဆက်ဆံရေး၏ ဖြစ်ပေါ်တိုးတက်မှုအခြေအနေများ၊ ကနေဒါနိုင်ငံတွင် အာဆီယံ ၏ စည်းလုံးညီညွတ်မှု၊ အာဆီယံ၏ဝိသေသလက္ခဏာနှင့် အာဆီယံ၏ပုံရိပ်တို့ကို ပိုမိုတိုးမြှင့်နိုင် မည့်နည်းလမ်းများနှင့် ဩဂုတ်လ ၈ ရက်နေ့တွင် အော်တာဝါမြို့၌ အာဆီယံနေ့အထိမ်းအမှတ် အခမ်းအနား ကျင်းပပြုလုပ်မည့်ကိစ္စရပ်များအပေါ် ဆွေးနွေးအမြင်ချင်းဖလှယ်ခဲ့ကြပါသည်။ အစည်းအဝေးအပြီးတွင် အာဆီယံသံရုံးအကြီးအကဲများနှင့် ကနေဒါနိုင်ငံခြားရေးဝန်ကြီးဌာန၊ ကုန်သွယ်မှုညှိနှိုင်းရေးဌာန၊ ညွှန်ကြားရေးမှူးချုပ် Ms. Mary-Catherine Speirs နှင့် အရှေ့ တောင်အာရှဌာန၊ ညွှန်ကြားရေးမှူးချုပ် Mr. Alan Bowman တို့၏ အလုပ်သဘောနေ့လယ်စာ စားပွဲကို ဆက်လက်ကျင်းပခဲ့ရာ ၎င်းတို့က အာဆီယံနှင့်ကနေဒါနိုင်ငံအကြား လွတ်လပ်စွာ ကုန်သွယ်ရေးသဘောတူစာချုပ်ချုပ်ဆိုရေးအတွက် လက်ရှိဆွေးနွေးညှိနှိုင်းမှုများ၏ ဖြစ်ပေါ် တိုးတက်မှုအခြေအနေများအပေါ် ဆွေးနွေးအမြင်ချင်းဖလှယ်ခဲ့ကြကြောင်း သိရှိရပါသည်။
Ambassador of Myanmar to Canada attends the Meeting of the ASEAN Committee in Ottawa and a Working Lunch

Ambassador of Myanmar to Canada U Hau Khan Sum attended the 290th Meeting of the ASEAN Committee in Ottawa (ACO) Heads of Mission and a Working Lunch hosted by Mr. Kallayana Vipattipumiprates, Ambassador of Thailand and current Chair of the ACO on 10 April 2025 at the Thai Residence in Ottawa.
During the Meeting, the ASEAN Heads of Mission discussed and exchanged views on on the development of ASEAN-Canada Strategic Partnership, promotion of ASEAN’s identity, unity and visibility in Canada and celebration of ASEAN Day on 8 August 2025 in Ottawa. The Meeting was followed by a Working Lunch with Ms. Mary-Catherine Speirs, Director General of Trade Negotiations and Mr. Alan Bowman, Director General of Southeast Asia Division, Global Affairs Canada. During the Working Lunch, the ASEAN Heads of Mission and the Directors-General cordially exchanged views on the ongoing negotiation for conclusion of the ASEAN-Canada Free Trade Agreement.
