နိုင်ငံခြားရေးဝန်ကြီးဌာန၊ ဒုတိယဝန်ကြီး ဦးလွင်ဦးသည် နယူးယောက်မြို့ရှိ ကုလသမဂ္ဂ အဖွဲ့အစည်းများနှင့် လူသားချင်းစာနာထောက်ထားမှုဆိုင်ရာ အဖွဲ့အစည်းများ၏ အရေးပေါ် ညွှန်ကြားရေးမှူးများအဖွဲ့ (Emergency Directors Group – EDG) ဥက္ကဋ္ဌနှင့် ကုလသမဂ္ဂ လူသားချင်းစာနာမှုဆိုင်ရာ ညှိနှိုင်းရေးရုံး (UNOCHA) ၏ လုပ်ငန်းလည်ပတ်မှုနှင့် လူသားချင်း စာနာမှုလုပ်ငန်းများ တုံ့ပြန်မှုဆိုင်ရာဌာန၏ ညွှန်ကြားရေးမှူးဖြစ်သူ Ms. Edem Wosornu ဦးဆောင် သည့် ကိုယ်စားလှယ်အဖွဲ့အား ၂၀၂၄ ခုနှစ်၊ ဩဂုတ်လ ၂၇ ရက်၊ နံနက် ၁၁:၀၀ နာရီတွင် နေပြည်တော်ရှိ နိုင်ငံခြားရေးဝန်ကြီးဌာန၌ လက်ခံတွေ့ဆုံခဲ့သည်။
ထိုသို့တွေ့ဆုံစဉ် မြန်မာအစိုးရနှင့် ကုလသမဂ္ဂတို့အကြား လတ်တလော ပူးပေါင်းဆောင်ရွက် နေမှုများနှင့် ဆက်လက်ပူးပေါင်းဆောင်ရွက်ရေးကိစ္စရပ်များ၊ လိုအပ်နေသည့် ပြည်သူများထံသို့ လူသားချင်းစာနာမှုဆိုင်ရာ အကူအညီများပေးအပ်နေမှုအခြေအနေတို့နှင့် ပတ်သက်၍ နှစ်ဖက် ရင်းနှီးစွာ အမြင်ချင်းဖလှယ်ဆွေးနွေးခဲ့ကြသည်။
အစည်းအဝေးသို့ နိုင်ငံခြားရေးဝန်ကြီးဌာနမှ အမြဲတမ်းအတွင်းဝန်နှင့် အဆင့်မြင့်အရာရှိကြီး များ၊ EDG ၏ ညွှန်ကြားရေးမှူးများဖြစ်ကြသည့် ဂျီနီဗာမြို့ရှိ လူသားချင်းစာနာမှုဆိုင်ရာ တုံ့ပြန်ရေး လုပ်ငန်းစဉ်ချမှတ်သည့်အဖွဲ့ (SCHR) ၏ အမှုဆောင်အတွင်းရေးမှူး၊ ဂျီနီဗာမြို့ရှိ WHO အဖွဲ့၏ ကျန်းမာရေးဆိုင်ရာ အရေးပေါ်တုံ့ပြန်မှု ညွှန်ကြားရေးမှူးတို့နှင့် ရန်ကုန်မြို့အခြေစိုက် ကုလသမဂ္ဂယာယီ ဌာနေညှိနှိုင်းရေးမှူးနှင့် လူသားချင်းစာနာထောက်ထားမှုဆိုင်ရာ ယာယီညှိနှိုင်း ရေးမှူး၊ UNOCHA ၏ မြန်မာနိုင်ငံဆိုင်ရာအကြီးအကဲနှင့် UNOCHA ၏ ညှိနှိုင်းရေးဆိုင်ရာဌာနခွဲ ၏အကြီးအကဲတို့ ပါဝင်တက်ရောက်ခဲ့ကြသည်။

U Lwin Oo, Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs received the delegation led by Ms. Edem Wosornu, Chair of Emergency Directors Group – EDG and Director for Operations and Advocacy Division at UNOCHA in New York at 11:00 hrs on 27 August 2024, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Nay Pyi Taw.
During the meeting, they cordially exchanged views on the current and further cooperation between Myanmar and the United Nations and facilitation for provision of humanitarian assistance to the needy population.
Also present at the meeting were Permanent Secretary and the senior officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Executive Secretary of the Steering Committee for Humanitarian Response (SCHR) and WHO Director of Health Emergency Interventions who are Emergency Directors based in Geneva and Resident Coordinator/ Humanitarian Coordinator ad interim, Head of UNOCHA (Myanmar) and Head of Coordination Unit (UNOCHA, Myanmar) based in Yangon.
