SOCIAL VISA
REQUIREMENTS FOR SOCIAL VISA APPLICATION

1. Completed visa application form.

2. Two recent (5x7cm) coloured photos with white background professionally taken and printed.

3. Passport with minimum validity of six (6) months and with sufficient visa pages.
(For multiple visa, the passport validity should cover the validity of the visa)

4. Ex-Myanmar who was born in Myanmar must apply social visa.

5. Proof of Ex-Myanmar citizenship.

6. Proof of relationship with Myanmar citizen (marriage certificate)

7. Duly filled up Biography form.

8. Invitation Letter of Family Member.

9. Invited Person’s national ID and house holding List.

10. Visa fees per applicant are as follows:

11. Payment by money order or bank draft made payable to the Embassy of Myanmar.

12. Enclose a registered prepaid return envelope of your choice Express Canada Post.
(If you choose Fedex or UPS, obtain a computer generated waybill that you can do online or you can obtain Express post from the Post Office). Make sure it is filled up legibly.
(DO NOT SEND AN UNREGISTERED ENVELOP OR ORDINARY STAMPED ENVELOPE)

NOTE:

1. Make sure you comply with all the above requirements, failure to do so will delay issuance of visa.
If documents are in order, processing time is five (5) business days more or less depending on the season.

2. The Embassy does not give updates on the status of your application unless we need further information or requirements from you.
