ကနေဒါနိုင်ငံဆိုင်ရာ မြန်မာသံရုံးယာယီတာဝန်ခံ/ သံအမတ်ကြီး ဦးဇော်ထွန်းဦးသည် အာဆီယံ ကော်မတီ (အော်တာဝါ) (ASEAN Committee in Ottawa – ACO) က ကြီးမှူး၍ ၂၀၂၆ ခုနှစ်၊ ဩဂုတ်လ ၁၀ ရက်နေ့၊ (၁၈း၀၀) နာရီတွင် အော်တာဝါမြို့ရှိ အင်ဒိုနီးရှားသံရုံး၌ ကျင်းပခဲ့သည့် (၅၉) နှစ်မြောက် အာဆီယံနေ့အထိမ်းအမှတ်ဧည့်ခံပွဲအခမ်းအနားသို့ ပါဝင်တက်ရောက်ခဲ့ပါသည်။
အခမ်းအနားသို့ ကနေဒါနိုင်ငံခြားရေးဝန်ကြီး The Honourable Anita Anand က အဓိကဧည့်သည်တော်အဖြစ် တက်ရောက်ခဲ့ပြီး၊ ကနေဒါလွှတ်တော်အမတ်များ၊ ကနေဒါ နိုင်ငံခြားရေးဝန်ကြီးဌာနမှ အရာရှိများ၊ အာဆီယံနိုင်ငံများနှင့် အာဆီယံဆွေးနွေးဖက်နိုင်ငံများမှ သံအမတ်ကြီးများနှင့် ဖိတ်ကြားထားသည့် သံတမန်များ တက်ရောက်ခဲ့ကြပါသည်။
အခမ်းအနားကို အာဆီယံသီချင်းနှင့် ကနေဒါနိုင်ငံတော်သီချင်းတို့ဖြင့် ဖွင့်လှစ်ခဲ့ပြီးနောက် အာဆီယံကော်မတီ (အော်တာဝါ) ၏ အလှည့်ကျဥက္ကဋ္ဌဖြစ်သူ ကနေဒါနိုင်ငံဆိုင်ရာ အင်ဒိုနီးရှား သံအမတ်ကြီး H.E Muhsin Syihab နှင့် အထူးဧည့်သည်တော်အဖြစ် တက်ရောက်လာသော ကနေဒါနိုင်ငံခြားရေးဝန်ကြီး The Honourable Anita Anand တို့က အသီးသီးမိန့်ခွန်း ပြောကြားခဲ့ပါသည်။ ထို့နောက် မှတ်တမ်းတင်ဓာတ်ပုံများ ရိုက်ကူးခြင်း၊ အာဆီယံအတွင်းရေးမှူးချုပ် H.E Dr. Kao Kim Hourn ထံမှ ပေးပို့သည့် (၅၉) နှစ်မြောက် အာဆီယံနေ့အထိမ်းအမှတ် သဝဏ်လွှာကို Video Clip ဖြင့် ပြသခြင်း၊ တက်ရောက်လာသောဧည့်သည်တော်များအား အာဆီယံနိုင်ငံများ၏ ရိုးရာအစားအစာများဖြင့် တည်ခင်းဧည့်ခံခြင်း၊ ရိုးရာယဉ်ကျေးမှု သီဆိုကပြမှု အစီအစဉ်များနှင့် ဖျော်ဖြေဧည့်ခံပြီးနောက် အခမ်းအနားအား ရုပ်သိမ်းခဲ့ပါသည်။ မြန်မာသံရုံး အနေဖြင့် ကြာဇံချက်နှင့် ဆနွင်းမကင်းတို့ဖြင့် ပါဝင်ဧည့်ခံခဲ့ပြီး မြန်မာ့ရိုးရာ သင်္ကြန်သီချင်း ဖြင့် သီဆိုကပြဖျော်ဖြေတင်ဆက်ခဲ့ကြကြောင်း သိရှိရပါသည်။

Chargé d’Affaires / Ambassador U Zaw Tun Oo Attends ASEAN Day Reception

Chargé d’Affaires / Ambassador U Zaw Tun Oo of the Embassy of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar to Canada attended the reception to commemorate the 59th ASEAN Day, hosted by the ASEAN Committee in Ottawa (ACO) at the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Ottawa at 1800 hours on 10 August 2026.
The ceremony was honoured by the presence of The Honourable Anita Anand, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Canada, as the Guest of Honour, together with Canadian Members of Parliament, officials from Global Affairs Canada, Ambassadors and representatives of ASEAN Member States and Dialogue Partners, and other invited members of the diplomatic community.
Following the ASEAN Anthem and the Canadian National Anthem, remarks were delivered by H.E Muhsin Syihab, Ambassador of Indonesia to Canada, in his capacity as Chair of the ASEAN Committee in Ottawa, and The Honourable Anita Anand, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Canada, as the Guest of Honour. The programme continued with a group photo and a video presentation of the message from H.E. Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, Secretary-General of ASEAN, commemorating the 59th ASEAN Day. Guests were then treated to traditional food and desserts from ASEAN Member States, as well as cultural performances. The Embassy of Myanmar participated by serving traditional Myanmar dishes, including Kyar Zan Chet (vermicelli soup) and Sanwin Makin (semolina cake), and presented a traditional Myanmar Thingyan song and cultural performance.
