ကနေဒါနိုင်ငံဆိုင်ရာ မြန်မာသံရုံးယာယီတာဝန်ခံ/သံအမတ်ကြီး ဦးဇော်ထွန်းဦးသည် အာဆီယံကော်မတီ(အော်တာဝါ) (ASEAN Committee in Ottawa – ACO) ၏ အလှည့်ကျ ဥက္ကဋ္ဌဖြစ်သူ ဘရူနိုင်းနိုင်ငံ သံအမတ်ကြီး H.E. Ang Lay Ling ဦးဆောင်၍ ၂၀၂၆ ခုနှစ်၊ ဇူလိုင်လ ၁၇ ရက် (သောကြာနေ့)တွင် အော်တာဝါမြို့ရှိ အင်ဒိုနီးရှားသံရုံး၌ ကျင်းပပြုလုပ်သည့် အလှည့်ကျဥက္ကဋ္ဌ တာဝန်လွှဲပြောင်းပေးအပ်ခြင်း အခမ်းအနားသို့ ပါဝင်တက်ရောက်ခဲ့ပါသည်။
အခမ်းအနားတွင် ဘရူနိုင်းနိုင်ငံ သံအမတ်ကြီး H.E. Ang Lay Ling က အာဆီယံ ကော်မတီ(အော်တာဝါ)၏ ဥက္ကဋ္ဌအဖြစ် တာဝန်ထမ်းဆောင်ခဲ့စဉ်ကာလအတွင်း အာဆီယံ-ကနေဒါ မဟာဗျူဟာမြောက် မိတ်ဖက်ဆက်ဆံရေး တိုးတက်ခိုင်မာလာစေရေး၊ ကနေဒါအစိုးရအဖွဲ့ဝင် ဝန်ကြီးများ၊ အဆင့်မြင့်အရာရှိကြီးများနှင့် ထိတွေ့ဆက်ဆံမှု တိုးမြှင့်နိုင်ခဲ့ခြင်း၊ အာဆီယံ ကော်မတီ၏ အယ်လ်ဘာတာပြည်နယ်သို့ အလုပ်သဘောခရီးစဉ်ကို အောင်မြင်စွာ ဆောင်ရွက်နိုင်ခဲ့ ခြင်းတို့ အပါအဝင် ကော်မတီဥက္ကဋ္ဌတာဝန်များ ဆောင်ရွက်ပြီးစီးခဲ့မှု အခြေအနေများအား ရှင်းလင်းပြောကြားခဲ့ပါသည်။ ထို့နောက် အင်ဒိုနီးရှားနိုင်ငံ သံအမတ်ကြီး H.E. Muhsin Syihab ထံသို့ အာဆီယံကော်မတီ(အော်တာဝါ)၏ အလှည့်ကျဥက္ကဋ္ဌတာဝန်ကို လွှဲပြောင်းပေးအပ်ခဲ့ပြီး၊ အာဆီယံသံရုံးအကြီးအကဲများက ဥက္ကဋ္ဌအသစ်၏ တာဝန်ထမ်းဆောင်မည့်ကာလအတွင်း အာဆီယံ-ကနေဒါဆက်ဆံရေးများ ပိုမိုတိုးတက်ခိုင်မာလာစေရေးအတွက် အနီးကပ်ပူးပေါင်း ဆောင်ရွက်သွား မည့် လုပ်ငန်းစဉ်များနှင့်စပ်လျဉ်း၍ အမြင်ချင်းဖလှယ်ဆွေးနွေးခဲ့ကြပါသည်။
မြန်မာသံရုံးယာယီတာဝန်ခံ/သံအမတ်ကြီး ဦးဇော်ထွန်းဦး ကလည်း ဘရူနိုင်း သံအမတ်ကြီး ၏ ဦးဆောင်မှုနှင့် ကြိုးပမ်းဆောင်ရွက်မှုများအတွက် ကျေးဇူးတင်ရှိကြောင်း ပြောကြားခဲ့ပြီး၊ အလှည့်ကျဥက္ကဋ္ဌအသစ်ဖြစ်သော အင်ဒိုနီးရှားသံအမတ်ကြီးအား ဂုဏ်ပြုကြိုဆိုခဲ့ကာ ၎င်း၏ ဦးဆောင်မှုအောက်တွင် အာဆီယံကော်မတီ(အော်တာဝါ) ၏ လုပ်ငန်းဆောင်ရွက်ချက်များ ဆက်လက်တိုးတက်ခိုင်မာလာမည်ဟု ယုံကြည်ပါကြောင်း ပြောကြားခဲ့သည်ဟု သိရှိရပါသည်။

Chargé d’Affaires / Ambassador of the Embassy of Myanmar to Canada Attends the ASEAN Committee in Ottawa Chairmanship Handover Ceremony

Chargé d’Affaires / Ambassador of the Embassy of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar to Canada, U Zaw Tun Oo, attended the Chairmanship Handover Ceremony of the ASEAN Committee in Ottawa (ACO), held on Friday, 17 July 2026, at the Embassy of Indonesia in Ottawa, at the invitation of H.E. Ang Lay Ling, High Commissioner of Brunei Darussalam, the outgoing Chair of the ASEAN Committee in Ottawa.
During the ceremony, H.E. Ang Lay Ling highlighted the key achievements of her tenure as Chair of the ASEAN Committee in Ottawa, including efforts to strengthen the ASEAN–Canada Strategic Partnership, enhance engagement with Canadian ministers and senior government officials, and successfully organize the ACO Working Visit to Alberta Province. She subsequently handed over the rotating Chairmanship of the ASEAN Committee in Ottawa to H.E. Muhsin Syihab, Ambassador of Indonesia. Following the handover, the Heads of ASEAN Missions also exchanged views on future initiatives to further strengthen ASEAN–Canada relations under the leadership of the incoming Chair.
Chargé d’Affaires / Ambassador U Zaw Tun Oo also expressed his sincere appreciation to H.E Ang Lay Ling, High Commissioner of Brunei Darussalam, for her outstanding leadership and dedicated service during her tenure as Chair of the ASEAN Committee in Ottawa. He also congratulated H.E Muhsin Syihab, Ambassador of Indonesia on assuming the Chairmanship and expressed his confidence that, under his leadership, the activities and work of the ASEAN Committee in Ottawa would continue to grow stronger and achieve further success.
