ကနေဒါနိုင်ငံဆိုင်ရာ မြန်မာသံရုံး ယာယီတာဝန်ခံ/သံအမတ်ကြီး ဦးဇော်ထွန်းဦးသည် အာဆီယံ ကော်မတီ (အော်တာဝါ) ၏ အလှည့်ကျဥက္ကဋ္ဌဖြစ်သူ ဘရူနိုင်းသံအမတ်ကြီး H.E. ANG Lay Ling ဦးဆောင်၍ ၂၀၂၆ ခုနှစ် ဇွန်လ ၁၂ ရက်နေ့၊ နေ့လယ် (၁၄၀၀) နာရီတွင် ဘရူနိုင်းသံရုံး၌ ကျင်းပပြုလုပ်သည့် အာဆီယံသံရုံးအကြီးအကဲများနှင့် ကနေဒါနိုင်ငံခြားရေးဝန်ကြီးဌာန၏ အင်ဒို-ပစိဖိတ်ဒေသဆိုင်ရာ အဆင့်မြင့်အရာရှိကြီးဖြစ်သူ လက်ထောက်ဒုတိယဝန်ကြီး Mr. Weldon Epp တို့၏ တွေ့ဆုံဆွေးနွေးပွဲသို့ ပါဝင်တက်ရောက်ခဲ့ပါသည်။
အဆိုပါဆွေးနွေးပွဲတွင် အာဆီယံ-ကနေဒါ မဟာဗျူဟာမြောက် မိတ်ဖက်ဆက်ဆံရေး၊ အင်ဒိုနီးရှားနိုင်ငံ၊ ဂျကာတာမြို့တွင် မကြာမီကျင်းပမည့် အာဆီယံ-ကနေဒါ အဆင့်မြင့်အရာရှိ ကြီးများအဆင့် အစည်းအဝေးမတိုင်မီ ဦးစားပေးဆွေးနွေးရမည့် ကိစ္စရပ်များ၊ စီးပွားရေးနှင့် ကုန်သွယ်ရေးပူးပေါင်းဆောင်ရွက်မှု၊ အာဆီယံ-ကနေဒါလွတ်လပ်သောကုန်သွယ်ရေးသဘောတူ ညီချက် ရရှိရေး ညှိနှိုင်းဆွေးနွေးမှုများ၏ တိုးတက်မှု၊ စွမ်းအင်လုံခြုံရေး၊ ရာသီဥတု ပြောင်းလဲမှု တုံ့ပြန်ရေး၊ ဒစ်ဂျစ်တယ်စီးပွားရေး၊ လူ့စွမ်းအားအရင်းအမြစ်ဖွံ့ဖြိုးတိုးတက်ရေးနှင့် အွန်လိုင်း လိမ်လည်မှုများ၊ ဆိုက်ဘာရာဇဝတ်မှုများ တိုက်ဖျက်ရေးဆိုင်ရာ ကိစ္စရပ်များအပေါ် အမြင်ချင်း ဖလှယ် ဆွေးနွေးခဲ့ကြပါသည်။
မြန်မာသံရုံးယာယီတာဝန်ခံ/ သံအမတ်ကြီး ဦးဇော်ထွန်းဦးက မြန်မာနိုင်ငံအနေဖြင့် အာဆီယံမူဘောင်အတွင်း တက်ကြွစွာ ပါဝင်ဆောင်ရွက်လျက်ရှိပြီး ဒေသတွင်း မိတ်ဖက်နိုင်ငံ များနှင့်လည်း ဆက်ဆံရေး တိုးမြှင့်ဆောင်ရွက်လျက်ရှိကြောင်း ရှင်းလင်းပြောကြားခဲ့ပါသည်။ ထို့ပြင် မြန်မာနိုင်ငံအနေဖြင့် ငြိမ်းချမ်းရေး၊ တည်ငြိမ်ရေးနှင့် လူမှုစီးပွားဖွံ့ဖြိုးတိုးတက်ရေးတို့ကို မြန်မာ ဦးဆောင်သော မြန်မာ့ကိုယ်ပိုင်လုပ်ငန်းစဉ်ဖြင့် အကောင်အထည်ဖော်လျက်ရှိကြောင်း၊ အွန်လိုင်းငွေကြေးလိမ်လည်မှု၊ လူကုန်ကူးမှုနှင့် ဆက်စပ်သော နိုင်ငံဖြတ်ကျော် ရာဇဝတ်မှုများ ကိုလည်း အလေးအနက်ထား ကိုင်တွယ်ဆောင်ရွက်လျက်ရှိကြောင်း၊ သက်ဆိုင်ရာအိမ်နီးချင်း နိုင်ငံများနှင့် နီးကပ်စွာ ပူးပေါင်းဆောင်ရွက်၍ တရားမဝင် အွန်လိုင်းလိမ်လည်မှုလုပ်ငန်းများကို နှိမ်နင်းလျက်ရှိကြောင်း၊ ယင်းကဲ့သို့သော ရာဇဝတ်မှုများသည် နိုင်ငံတစ်နိုင်ငံတည်းဖြင့် ဖြေရှင်း နိုင်သည့် ပြဿနာမဟုတ်ဘဲ နိုင်ငံတကာ ပူးပေါင်းဆောင်ရွက်မှုလိုအပ်သည့် နိုင်ငံဖြတ်ကျော် ရာဇဝတ်မှု ဖြစ်ကြောင်း အလေးထားပြောကြားခဲ့သည်ဟု သိရှိရပါသည်။

Chargé d’Affaires a.i./Ambassador of Myanmar to Canada Attends Meeting between ASEAN Heads of Mission and Assistant Deputy Minister of Global Affairs Canada

Chargé d’Affaires / Ambassador of the Embassy of Myanmar in Canada, U Zaw Tun Oo, attended the meeting between ASEAN Heads of Mission in Ottawa and the Senior Official of Global Affairs Canada responsible for the Indo-Pacific region, Assistant Deputy Minister Mr. Weldon Epp, held at the High Commission of Brunei on 12 June 2026 at 1400 hrs, chaired by the High Commissioner of Brunei, H.E. Ang Lay Ling, the current Chair of the ASEAN Committee in Ottawa (ACO).
During the meeting, participants exchanged views on ASEAN-Canada strategic partnership, priority issues to be discussed ahead of the ASEAN-Canada Senior Officials’ Meeting (SOM), trade and economic cooperation, progress in ASEAN-Canada Free Trade Agreement (FTA) negotiations, energy security, climate change response, digital economy, human resource development, as well as efforts to combat online scams and cybercrime.
Myanmar Chargé d’Affaires / Ambassador, U Zaw Tun Oo, stated that Myanmar is actively participating within the ASEAN framework and is strengthening relations with regional partner countries. He further explained that Myanmar is implementing peace, stability, and socio-economic development through a Myanmar-led and Myanmar-owned process.
Myanmar Chargé d’Affaires / Ambassador also emphasized that Myanmar is taking serious action against transnational crimes, including online financial fraud, human trafficking, and related offenses. Myanmar is closely cooperating with neighboring countries to combat illegal online scam activities. He further highlighted that such crimes are transnational in nature and cannot be effectively addressed by a single country alone, requiring strong international cooperation.
