ကနေဒါနိုင်ငံဆိုင်ရာ မြန်မာသံရုံးယာယီတာဝန်ခံ/ သံအမတ်ကြီး ဦးဇော်ထွန်းဦးသည် အာဆီယံကော်မတီ (အော်တာဝါ) (ASEAN Committee in Ottawa-ACO) ၏ အလှည့်ကျ ဥက္ကဋ္ဌဖြစ်သူ ဘရူနိုင်းနိုင်ငံ သံအမတ်ကြီး H.E. Ang Lay Ling ဦးဆောင်၍ ၂၀၂၆ ခုနှစ်၊ ဇွန်လ ၁၅ ရက် (တနင်္လာနေ့)၊ နံနက် (၀၈၀၀) နာရီတွင် အော်တာဝါမြို့၊ Rideau Club ၌ ကျင်းပပြုလုပ်သည့် အာဆီယံကော်မတီ (အော်တာဝါ)၏ (၂၉၆) ကြိမ်မြောက် အစည်းအဝေးနှင့် အလုပ်သဘော နံနက်စာစားပွဲသို့ ပါဝင်တက်ရောက်ခဲ့ပါသည်။
အဆိုပါအစည်းအဝေးတွင် အာဆီယံ သံရုံးအကြီးအကဲများက အာဆီယံ-ကနေဒါ မဟာဗျူဟာ မြောက် မိတ်ဖက်ဆက်ဆံရေးတိုးတက်ရေး၊ အင်ဒို-ပစိဖိတ်မဟာဗျူဟာ အကောင်အထည်ဖော် ဆောင်ရွက်မှုများ၊ အာဆီယံ–ကနေဒါ လွတ်လပ်သောကုန်သွယ်ရေး သဘောတူညီချက် ညှိနှိုင်း ဆောင်ရွက်မှု၊ စွမ်းအင်လုံခြုံရေး၊ သန့်ရှင်းသောစွမ်းအင်ကူးပြောင်းရေး (Clean Energy Transition)၊ အရေးကြီးသတ္တုများ (Critical Minerals)၊ ရေရှည်တည်တံ့သော သဘာဝသယံဇာတ စီမံခန့်ခွဲမှုနှင့် ရင်းနှီးမြှုပ်နှံမှုဆိုင်ရာ ပူးပေါင်းဆောင်ရွက်ရေး အခွင့်အလမ်းများအပေါ် အမြင်ချင်းဖလှယ် ဆွေးနွေးခဲ့ကြ ပါသည်။ ဆက်လက်၍ အာဆီယံကော်မတီ(အော်တာဝါ)၏ အလှည့်ကျဥက္ကဋ္ဌ ဖြစ်သူ ဘရူနိုင်းနိုင်ငံ သံအမတ်ကြီးက ဥက္ကဋ္ဌအဖြစ်တာဝန်ယူစဉ်ကာလအတွင်း အာဆီယံကော်မတီ(အော်တာဝါ)၏ ဆောင်ရွက်ပြီးစီးခဲ့သည့် လုပ်ငန်းတာဝန်များနှင့် ရှေ့ဆက်ဆောင်ရွက်မည့် အစီအစဉ်များကို လည်းကောင်း၊ ဇူလိုင်လတွင် အာဆီယံကော်မတီ၏ အလှည့်ကျဥက္ကဋ္ဌအဖြစ် တာဝန်ယူမည့် အင်ဒိုနီးရှား သံအမတ်ကြီးက အာဆီယံနေ့အခမ်းအနားနှင့် ကနေဒါတက္ကသိုလ်များနှင့် ပူးပေါင်း၍ ဆွေးနွေးပွဲများ ပြုလုပ်မည့် အစီအစဉ်များကိုလည်းကောင်း အမြင်ချင်းဖလှယ် ဆွေးနွေးခဲ့ကြပါသည်။
မြန်မာသံရုံးယာယီတာဝန်ခံ/သံအမတ်ကြီး ဦးဇော်ထွန်းဦးက မြန်မာနိုင်ငံ၏ ဖြစ်ပေါ် တိုးတက်မှု အခြေအနေများ၊ အာဆီယံအပါအဝင် ဒေသတွင်းနိုင်ငံများနှင့် စဉ်ဆက်မပြတ် ထိတွေ့ဆက်ဆံလျက် ရှိသည့်အခြေအနေများကို ဆွေးနွေးပြောကြားခဲ့ပြီး တရုတ်ပြည်သူ့သမ္မတနိုင်ငံ၊ သမ္မတမစ္စတာ ရှီကျင့်ဖျင်၏ ဖိတ်ကြားချက်အရ ပြည်ထောင်စုသမ္မတမြန်မာနိုင်ငံတော် နိုင်ငံတော်သမ္မတ ဦးမင်းအောင်လှိုင် က တရုတ်ပြည်သူ့သမ္မတနိုင်ငံသို့ ၂၀၂၆ ခုနှစ်၊ ဇွန်လ ၁၅ ရက်မှ ၁၉ ရက်အထိ သွားရောက်နေသည့် ချစ်ကြည်ရေးခရီးစဉ်သည်လည်း ဒေသတွင်းဆက်သွယ်ချိတ်ဆက်မှု၊ ကုန်သွယ်ရေး နှင့် ဖွံ့ဖြိုးတိုးတက်ရေးဆိုင်ရာ ပူးပေါင်းဆောင်ရွက်မှုများ တိုးမြှင့်ရေးအတွက် အရေးပါသည့် ခရီးစဉ် ဖြစ်ကြောင်းကို ရှင်းလင်းပြောကြားခဲ့သည်ဟု သိရှိရပါသည်။

Chargé d’Affaires/ Ambassador of the Embassy of Myanmar in Canada Attends the 296th ASEAN Committee in Ottawa Meeting and Working Breakfast

Chargé d’Affaire/ Ambassador of the Embassy of Myanmar in Canada, U Zaw Tun Oo, attended the 296th ASEAN Committee in Ottawa (ACO) Meeting and Working Breakfast held on Monday, 15 June 2026, at 0800 hours at the Rideau Club, Ottawa, chaired by the current Chair of the ASEAN Committee in Ottawa, High Commissioner of Brunei Darussalam, H.E. Ang Lay Ling.
During the meeting, Heads of ASEAN Missions exchanged views on the advancement of the ASEAN–Canada strategic partnership, the implementation of the Indo-Pacific Strategy, negotiation of ASEAN-Canada Free Trade Agreement, energy security, the clean energy transition, critical minerals, sustainable natural resource management, and opportunities for cooperation in investment and related areas.
Subsequently, the Chair of the ASEAN Committee in Ottawa, the High Commissioner of Brunei Darussalam, briefed participants on the completed work during her tenure as Chair, as well as future planned activities. The Ambassador of Indonesia Embassy, who will assume the rotating chairmanship of the ASEAN Committee in July, also presented plans for ASEAN Day commemorations and proposed collaborative seminars with Canadian universities, followed by an exchange of views among participants.
Chargé d’Affaires/ Ambassador of the Embassy of Myanmar, U Zaw Tun Oo, briefed the meeting on recent developments in Myanmar and the country’s continued engagement with ASEAN and other regional partners. He also emphasized that at the invitation of President of the People’s Republic of China His Excellency Mr. Xi Jinping, the State Visit of the President of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar His Excellency U Min Aung Hlaing to the People’s Republic of China from 15 to 19 June 2026 is an important visit that will further enhance regional connectivity, trade, and development cooperation.
