နိုင်ငံခြားရေးဝန်ကြီးဌာန၊ ဒုတိယဝန်ကြီး ဦးကိုကိုကျော်သည် မြန်မာနိုင်ငံ၌ တာဝန်ထမ်း ဆောင်မှုပြီးဆုံး၍ ပြန်လည်ထွက်ခွာတော့မည့် ကမ္ဘာ့ကျန်းမာရေးအဖွဲ့ (WHO) ၏ မြန်မာနိုင်ငံ ဆိုင်ရာဌာနေကိုယ်စားလှယ် Dr. Thushara Fernando အား ၁၈-၂-၂၀၂၆ ရက်၊ ၁၀၀၀ နာရီတွင် နိုင်ငံခြားရေးဝန်ကြီးဌာန၌ လက်ခံတွေ့ဆုံခဲ့သည်။
ထိုသို့တွေ့ဆုံစဉ် Dr. Thushara Fernando အနေဖြင့် မြန်မာနိုင်ငံ၌ တာဝန် ထမ်းဆောင်စဉ်ကာလအတွင်း မြန်မာနိုင်ငံနှင့် WHO တို့အကြား နှစ်ဖက်ပူးပေါင်းဆောင်ရွက်ခဲ့မှု အခြေအနေများနှင့် WHO မှ ဆက်လက်ဆောင်ရွက်မည့် လုပ်ငန်းအစီအစဉ်များအပေါ် အမြင်ချင်း ဖလှယ်ဆွေးနွေးခဲ့ကြသည်။
အစည်းအဝေးသို့ နိုင်ငံခြားရေးဝန်ကြီးဌာနမှ ဌာနဆိုင်ရာအရာရှိများ တက်ရောက်ခဲ့ကြ သည်။

U Ko Ko Kyaw, Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs received Dr. Thushara Fernando, WHO Representative to Myanmar who has completed his assignment, at 1000 hrs on 18 February 2026, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Nay Pyi Taw.
During the meeting, they exchanged views on matters related to cooperation between Myanmar and WHO during his term in Myanmar as well as further activities of WHO in Myanmar.
Also present at the meeting were officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
