ကနေဒါနိုင်ငံဆိုင်ရာ မြန်မာသံရုံး ယာယီတာဝန်ခံ/ သံအမတ်ကြီး ဦးဇော်ထွန်းဦးသည် ကနေဒါနိုင်ငံဆိုင်ရာ ထိုင်းနိုင်ငံသံအမတ်ကြီးအဖြစ် ခန့်အပ်ရန် သဘောတူညီပြီးဖြစ်သူ H.E Mr. Darm Boontham အား ၂၀၂၆ ခုနှစ်၊ ဖေဖော်ဝါရီလ ၂၄ ရက် (အင်္ဂါနေ့)၊ (၁၀:၃၀) နာရီတွင် အော်တာဝါမြို့ရှိ မြန်မာသံရုံး၌ လက်ခံတွေ့ဆုံခဲ့ပါသည်။ ထိုသို့တွေ့ဆုံစဉ် နှစ်နိုင်ငံသံအမတ်ကြီး များသည် မြန်မာနိုင်ငံနှင့် ထိုင်းနိုင်ငံတို့အကြား ရှိရင်းစွဲ ချစ်ကြည်သော အိမ်နီးချင်းကောင်း ဆက်ဆံရေးနှင့် ထိုင်းနိုင်ငံရောက် မြန်မာအလုပ်သမားရေးရာ ကိစ္စရပ်များအပါအဝင် ပြည်သူ အချင်းချင်း ဆက်သွယ်ရင်းနှီးမှု ပိုမိုတိုးတက်ခိုင်မာစေရေး၊ အိမ်ရှင်ကနေဒါနိုင်ငံနှင့် ပူးပေါင်း ဆောင်ရွက်မှုများ တိုးမြှင့်နိုင်ရေးအခွင့်အလမ်းများနှင့် စပ်လျဉ်း၍ အမြင်ချင်းဖလှယ် ဆွေးနွေးခဲ့ ကြကြောင်း၊ မြန်မာသံရုံးယာယီတာဝန်ခံ/ သံအမတ်ကြီး ဦးဇော်ထွန်းဦးက မြန်မာနိုင်ငံ၏ လက်ရှိဖြစ်ပေါ် တိုးတက်မှုအခြေအနေများ၊ လွတ်လပ်၍ တရားမျှတသော ပါတီစုံဒီမိုကရေစီ စနစ် အကောင်အထည်ဖော်နိုင်ရေးအတွက် အထွေထွေရွေးကောက်ပွဲအား အောင်မြင်စွာကျင်းပ ပြီးစီး မှုအခြေအနေများ၊ လွှတ်တော်သစ် စတင်နိုင်ရေးနှင့် ဒီမိုကရေစီအစိုးရသစ် တစ်ရပ် ဖွဲ့စည်းနိုင်ရေး ပြင်ဆင်ဆောင်ရွက်နေမှုများနှင့် စပ်လျဉ်း၍ အသိပေးပြောကြားခဲ့ပါကြောင်း သိရှိရပါသည်။

Chargé d’affaires a.i./Ambassador of the Embassy of Myanmar to Canada Receives the Ambassador-Designate of Thailand to Canada

Chargé d’Affaires a.i./Ambassador of the Embassy of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar to Canada, Zaw Tun Oo, received H.E. Darm Boonthan, Ambassador-Designate of the Kingdom of Thailand to Canada, at the Embassy of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar to Canada in Ottawa on 24 February 2026 at 10:30 hrs.
During the meeting, the two Ambassadors exchanged views on further strengthening the already existing friendly and good-neighbourly relations between Myanmar and Thailand, including issues related to Myanmar workers in Thailand, as well as enhancing people-to-people connectivity and exploring opportunities to expand cooperation with the host country, Canada.
Chargé d’Affaires a.i./Ambassador Zaw Tun Oo also briefed on the current developments in Myanmar, including the successful completion of the general election, which marked an important step toward establishing a free and fair multi-party democratic system as well as the ongoing preparations for convening a new parliament and forming a new democratic government.
