အဆိုပါအစီအစဉ်များအတွင်း မြန်မာသံရုံးယာယီတာဝန်ခံ/သံအမတ်ကြီး ဦးဇော်ထွန်းဦးသည် အယ်လ်ဘာတာပြည်နယ် ဝန်ကြီးချုပ် The Honourable Danielle Smith နှင့် အလုပ်အကိုင်၊ စီးပွားရေး၊ ကုန်သွယ်ရေးနှင့် လူဝင်မှုကြီးကြပ်ရေးဝန်ကြီး The Honourable Joseph Schow တို့နှင့် တွေ့ဆုံဆွေးနွေးခဲ့ပြီး McDougall Centre ၌ ကျင်းပသည့် VIP အလုပ်သဘောနံနက်စာစားပွဲနှင့် ဝန်ကြီးချုပ် Danielle Smith ဦးဆောင်ကျင်းပသည့် ပြည်နယ်ရိုးရာ အဖြူရောင်ဦးထုပ်ပွဲတော် (White Hat Ceremony) အခမ်းအနားများသို့ ပြည်နယ်ရိုးရာဝတ်စုံ(Western)များ ဝတ်ဆင်၍ ပါဝင်တက်ရောက်ခဲ့ပါသည်။
တွေ့ဆုံဆွေးနွေးမှုများအတွင်း အယ်လ်ဘာတာပြည်နယ်၏ စီးပွားရေးဦးစားပေးမူဝါဒများ၊ စွမ်းအင်၊ သဘာဝအရင်းအမြစ်၊ စိုက်ပျိုးရေးနှင့် ကုန်သွယ်ရေးကဏ္ဍများ ဖွံ့ဖြိုးတိုးတက်ရေးနှင့် နိုင်ငံတကာပူးပေါင်းဆောင်ရွက်မှုများကို ဆွေးနွေးခဲ့ကြပြီး အာဆီယံသံရုံးအကြီးအကဲများကလည်း စီးပွားရေး၊ ကုန်သွယ်ရေး၊ ရင်းနှီးမြှုပ်နှံမှုနှင့် ဒေသတွင်းပူးပေါင်းဆောင်ရွက်ရေးဆိုင်ရာ ကိစ္စရပ်များ အပေါ် အမြင်ချင်းဖလှယ်ခဲ့ကြပါသည်။
မြန်မာသံရုံး ယာယီတာဝန်ခံ/သံအမတ်ကြီး ဦးဇော်ထွန်းဦးကလည်း မြန်မာနိုင်ငံ၏ လက်ရှိနိုင်ငံရေးနှင့် စီးပွားရေးဖြစ်ပေါ်တိုးတက်မှုများ၊ အစိုးရသစ်၏ နိုင်ငံတကာပူးပေါင်း ဆောင်ရွက်မှု မြှင့်တင်ရေးကြိုးပမ်းမှုများကို ရှင်းလင်းပြောကြားခဲ့ပြီး မြန်မာနိုင်ငံနှင့် အယ်လ်ဘာတာ ပြည်နယ်အကြား စွမ်းအင်၊ စိုက်ပျိုးရေး၊ သဘာဝအရင်းအမြစ်၊ ကုန်သွယ်ရေး၊ ရင်းနှီးမြှုပ်နှံမှုနှင့် လူ့စွမ်းအားအရင်းအမြစ် ဖွံ့ဖြိုးရေးကဏ္ဍများတွင် အပြန်အလှန် အကျိုးရှိသော ပူးပေါင်း ဆောင်ရွက်မှုများ တိုးမြှင့်နိုင်ရေးအတွက် အမြင်ချင်းဖလှယ် ဆွေးနွေးခဲ့ကြောင်း သိရှိရပါသည်။

Chargé d’Affaires/Ambassador of the Embassy of Myanmar in Canada Attends Calgary Stampede Diplomatic Programme

Chargé d’Affaires/Ambassador of the Embassy of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar in Canada, U Zaw Tun Oo, attended the diplomatic programmes held in conjunction with the Calgary Stampede in Calgary, Alberta, on 6 July 2026, at the invitation of the Government of Alberta, together with the Heads of Mission of the ASEAN Committee in Ottawa.
During the programme, Chargé d’Affaires/Ambassador U Zaw Tun Oo met with The Honourable Danielle Smith, Premier of Alberta, and The Honourable Joseph Schow, Minister of Jobs, Economy, Trade and Immigration. He also attended the VIP Breakfast Reception at the McDougall Centre and participated in the provincial traditional White Hat Ceremony hosted by Premier Danielle Smith, wearing Alberta-style Western attire.
During the discussions, Alberta officials briefed participants on the province’s economic priorities and developments in the energy, natural resources, agriculture and trade sectors, while Heads of ASEAN Missions exchanged views on trade, investment and economic cooperation.
Chargé d’Affaires/Ambassador U Zaw Tun Oo briefed senior officials of the Government of Alberta on recent political and economic developments in Myanmar and the new Government’s efforts to strengthen constructive engagement with the international community. He also exchanged views on enhancing mutually beneficial cooperation between Myanmar and Alberta in the areas of energy, agriculture, natural resource development, trade, investment and human resource development, with a view to promoting future collaboration and strengthening bilateral relations
